I can't get it (gtk) to run in Mint 18 - complains about wrong version of several ('*ADM*') libraries.hence using the windows version.Д®dit: If you have more than just a few videos to rotate, it might be better to check out the lossless rotation with ffmpeg (or avconv) they have pretty nasty command-line parameters but once you get it set up you can save the setup in a script and it'll be easier to use than running avidemux or other GUI programs. One thing bad about avidemux in this case is you have to re-encode the file - if you choose 'copy' no filters are available. Note: I can't get the linux version of avidemux to start (it used to.) this is the windows version under wine.

You don't see something like the below? (with an mp4 file). I can get as far as 'transform', but nothing pops up. I can open the video, select filter where it says 'video'. The Avidemux software is not letting me rotate.
